We’d like to express our deepest gratitude to Jenny and the people at Fearless Records in giving us the chance to conduct this email interview. And of course, a huge thanks to Eric, as well as the rest of the band for taking their time to answer our questions.

This interview is made exclusively to Btfonline.org and cannot be redistribute or published anywhere else without permission. Thanks.

BTFO: Hey guys, thanks for taking the time to answer these. How are the preparations for the new album going along? Got a name for it yet?
Eric: It’s going really well! We are getting the artwork finished up and its being mastered any moment now!

Do you have any dates in mind as a possible release date?
Yes, I can’t say when yet but it will be in early fall!

What were your influences when you guys were writing for the new album?
Umm my only influence really was myself, because I just wanted to write a REAL record this time and make sure it was the best it could possibly be.

What is the difference between His Last Walk and the new album musically, and what can the fans expect in the new album?
Its definitely matured. I know a lot of bands say that, but we wrote the last one when I was 16. Breakdows are heavier, and the chorus’s are bigger.

If you guys can play any festivals in the world, where do you think Blessthefall would perform at and why? If not where would you really like to travel to as a band?
Definitely Soundwave, we have been trying to get down to Australia for quite some time.

Out of all the members in Blessthefall, who has the nastiest habit on tour?
Matt, he has a habit of not showering.

What do you guys do during your free time when you guys are on tour?
Hang out with family and friends. But we all still hang out a lot when we are home.

Whats the funniest tour story to date?
Ummm I peed on my face apparently once. I don’t remember though. I fell out of the van and fell asleep on the side walk and apparently I pulled down my pants and started peeing laying down. Weird.

Do you ever get recognised on the streets? If so, what is that like?
Yes I do, its fun and cool when someone you walk by and their face lights up when they know you.

What has been the strangest fan encounter you’ve ever had?
[In] Mexico, these girls begged for my sweaty socks. I gave them to them and they smelt them and I think melted their hearts…along with their noses.

As an artist, what do you think of your fans downloading your music right off of the internet? What about for those who can’t get your CD in their country?
It sucks ’cause stealing in any manner is wrong and I don’t back it, but hey, some kids do what they gotta do to get your music. And if that means they will come out to the show and buy a shirt, I won’t complain too much.

Jordan would like to know with the departure of Craig, do you see your style changing at all?
Craig wrote melodies to our songs, as so does Beau, so I would say no.

Nikki from California would like to know what are some of your future goals, long term or short, that you want to complete as a band?
I just want to succeed after this mess we’ve been in over the last year, because if we can do it, there is no reason that anyone couldn’t do it. It’ll bring a lot of hope.

Nikki from New Jersey would like to know if there are any special milestones that the band has accomplished that have a place in your heart?
We found Beau 2 days before I was about to go to college, wrote a record, toured, and have big plans for the future.

Russell from Charlotte, NC would like to know if you guys going to play warped tour or any music festivals like that next year? And what can the fans expect at the live shows.
Nothing is confirmed so I guess you’ll have to wait and see just like us!

There a few fansites made for Blessthefall, like Btfonline.org. Have you visited these fansites before and what’s it like to know that people all around the world admire you and even make fansites dedicated to your music?
Yes of course! And we love you all.

Will there be a Blessthefall tour in support of the new album? International tour, perhaps? And I bet you guys get this a lot but when can the Malaysian and Australian fans of yours be able to see you guys?
We will be touring until our lungs give out. I can promise you will be seeing a lot of Blessthefall in the future.

Lastly, do you have any messages to your fans in Malaysia, Australia and the rest of the world?
I love you guys, its so rad that people on the opposite side of the globe likes the music we make. You guys are the reason we are here, and we’re here to stay.
